Ron is an agent / former owner of the First Security Agency. Ron is also a Sleepy Eye native and is a graduate of Sleepy Eye High School and Mankato State University. He has worked in the financial/investment business since 1976. Ron joined First Security in 1993. In 1998 he and partner, Perry Pietig, purchased First Security Agency in Sleepy Eye. Ron and his wife, Beverly, have four children and two grandchildren. Ron is a member of the Sleepy Eye Chamber of Commerce, Chamber Ambassador Group, Sleepy Eye Lions club president, Sleepy Eye Medical Center Board member and member of Trinity Lutheran Church. His hobbies include spending time with his wife and family, walking, biking, camping, watching sporting events and traveling.
